The web site was of the highest quality. It is great that Vicki has good MarCom skills in addition to web skills. I didn't get what I asked for exactly -- I got what I *really* wanted. There wasn't much notice given and some of the work was done by Vicki after hours. There were lots of rave reviews from internal ... and from customers. Kudoes to Vicki! We finally have a ... site that is worthy of an industry leader.

I have had the opportunity to work with Vicki a number of times over the past 15 years, including hiring her on more than one occasion. I initially had the opportunity to work with her ... in the early '90's. Her role was as a Unix tools developer and she was an integral part of the development team I was part of. One thing that struck me then was that she was one of the only members of the engineering team that really took the process of writing and reviewing documentation seriously -- you could be assured that her products were well documented and that the documentation was well written. ...

Vicki is a talented writer, a detailed editor, and a thorough tester. It is unusual to find someone who has the technical background as a programmer, who enjoys testing and documenting. Vicki has a particular talent here ... I certainly would highly recommend her and I would hire her again.

Vicki is proactive in gathering the information that she needs from the appropriate people and produces results quickly and in an organized manner. Vicki works best when given a bigger flow of work parceled out into smaller chunks and with lots of feedback on her results.

Vicki writes well, organizes information effectively, and has a personal interest in tools that can increase the communication within a technical group. She has often suggested new ways of organizing and making available exitsing documentation or ideas related to better ways to make the information-heavy processes (such as the spec writing, reviewing, and sign-off process) operate in the future.

She also has a substantial amount of knowledge about programming and system administration. This allows her to make suggestions based on herexperience and also makes it possible for her to document existing systems by examining their implementation.

Vicki is quite organized. This is evident in her ability to work in parallel on a number of different assignments; in the clear presentation of information, whether on a web site or within a document; and in her status reports which are detailed to a fault but organized clearly and precisely.
